At the start of a PvP Match, players are given the option to choose additional Reserve Monsters they can utilize during gameplay. The Monsters available for selection are the ones you have in your inventory but not part of the team you have formed.
At the Selection page, you are able to check the opponentโs deck and choose Reserve Monsters that will help you win that Match. Both users in the PvP Match are able to select simultaneously, however you are not able to check which Reserve Monsters your opponent has chosen.
If you do NOT select any Reserve Monsters, the match will start without having additional monsters. Please be noted that selecting as Reserve Monsters will decrease a single Monster Durability as well.
It's important to note that only living Monsters can be replaced, so Reserve Monsters must be used before a Monster is defeated. You can select the monster to replace during the opponent's turn. However, if a Monster is killed in that turn, the replacement will not happen.
Upon selecting Reserve Monsters to use, players are given the option to choose 2 Skill Cards from a selection of Special Cards which they can utilize during gameplay. The order of selection is based on the First Strike Speed of the Servants and Monsters, with slower players receiving the first choice. There are a total of 8 types of Special Skill Cards available, and 4 random cards are presented for selection in every new match.
If you do NOT select any card, the game will automatically select a card for you.
The special cards have the following options, along with images and descriptions for each card.
Once all cards have been chosen, the Match will begin.
